Metro Pacific Health Innovates Nationwide Healthcare Delivery

For the first time in 15 years, Metro Pacific Hospitals is rebranding itself with a new identity. Now known as Metro Pacific Health, the nation’s first and largest private hospital group aims to dramatically improve the way health care is delivered in the country, with a focus on transforming the landscape through digital innovation.

The new name, logo and promise are a strong commitment to becoming the heart of Philippine healthcare. It’s a gesture that highlights the brand’s global standards, but always with a personal touch.

“In line with the growing needs of our patients, we are digitally transforming the landscape to innovate healthcare in the Philippines. The name change from “Hospitals” to “Health” underscores that we are not just a group of hospitals, but rather an integrated healthcare network that seeks to connect all aspects of healthcare, from illness to welfare ; from hospital care to virtual care, mobile care and home care,” said Metro Pacific Health Vice President and President Augie Palisoc Jr.

In addition to modernizing infrastructure, acquiring new equipment, and expanding product and service offerings, Metro Pacific Health also plans to digitally transform the landscape.

This also includes introducing new virtual care platforms and upgrading hospital information systems to create an integrated digital access point, with capabilities to digitally search and schedule appointments, sort symptoms, navigate to the right site for care, and access electronic medical records across the entire network.

“We are exploring remote patient monitoring, electronic health record systems, home hospitalization programs and all these other exciting opportunities that will revolutionize patient care in the country,” said Metro Pacific Health CEO , Dr Harish Pillai.

At Metro Pacific Health’s brand equity launch event on October 12, 2022, company owner mogul Manny V. Pangilinan announced that the organization plans to be “the network of largest and most popular integrated healthcare in the Philippines, and one of the largest in Asia”. innovative and reliable healthcare providers.

“I have high hopes for Metro Pacific Health, and I am committed to strongly supporting the leadership teams and employees behind the organization,” Pangilinan said.

Suffice it to say, the COVID-19 pandemic has dramatically changed the world in more ways than one, including how healthcare is delivered in the new normal. Remote, direct-to-home, digital and personalized healthcare have become industry buzzwords.

The rebranding is part of Metro Pacific Health’s drive to expand services to better meet customer needs, modernize healthcare with cutting-edge technology in medical science and data, improve end-to-end customer experience and making world-class quality healthcare more accessible to many Filipinos.

Metro Pacific Health has a network of 19 hospitals, 22 ambulatory care centers, cancer treatment centers, pharmacies, allied health colleges and a central laboratory.
