1 man killed and 1 woman injured in shooting in neighborhood near GE appliance park

A man was killed and a woman injured after a shooting near the Buechel neighborhood early Saturday morning, according to the Louisville Metro Police Department. At approximately 7:15 a.m., the LMPD’s Sixth Division responded to a report of a shooting in the 4300 block of Norbrook Drive. It’s just north of the General Electric Appliance Park. When the police arrived at the scene, they found a man and a woman with gunshot wounds. The man was pronounced dead at the scene while the woman was taken to UofL Hospital. His condition is unknown at this time. LMPD Homicide is handling the investigation. There are no suspects at this time.
